I think I should truly agree with him. Not that I want to insult people. Just want to caution them againt taking things too far. (To DarkMirage: No! Absolutely nothing against you. You have every right to go ahead and record Haruhiism in history via Yahoo. I’m not here to stop you…)
It’s just a little thing from experience. Last Saturday, I went down to Kinokuniya Bugis to buy what I believed to be a Haruhi artbook. Yes, I worked 2 and a half hours to earn the money to afford it…
Turns out the book WASN’T a Haruhi artbook. It was, quote: The Official Haruhi Suzumiya Fan Book. Presented by SOS-dan. End quote. Oh, I s feel like crying now…Well, here are the pics. Forgive my poor phototaking…

And the fact that the whole thing is in Japanese kinda spoils it…was wondering why an artbook would be so cheap…
Now, I’ve got two choices. (Actually alot more, but the others are unpalatable, and involve a net loss of property and value…) I could keep this nice little Japanese book, or I could try sell it to someone. Aurabolt suggested trying DarkMirage, given he’s a huge Haruhi fan and he also lives in Singapore, so I can save of shipping costs.

Yes, yes, Haruhi figurines are coming soon…Ok fine, not that soon, pre-orders are stopped, no thanks to over-demand. Somehow I am so tempted to get this one. Pretty cheap (relatively speaking, of course), only 3990 yen. And for that nice, low price, Haruhi’s arm can apparently be switched to one with her holding her director’s loudhaler. Interesting…
And this news coming in the wake of my recent trip to Kinokuniya Bugis…where I saw the Haruhi artbook going for $28.80. (No need to remind me that I could have seen that price wrongly…again.) I don’t think I can afford to buy both the artbook and the figurine. Thank goodness the first 5000 of those figurines are already out…

Ok, I watched a stretch of Haruhi from episode 4 right to…er, 8, was it?
Now I’m confused. Very confused. It’s as if the people over at afk fansubs mixed up the episodes and renamed the around wrongly. Somehow the time frame is all over the place, and I can’t seem to get any story out of it. It’s just too confusing.
Someone please tell me that this is normal and is supposed to happen…
Because of that,…no reviews till my head stops spinning.
This incoming week is practically holiday week, thanks to National Day. Well, that means the episodes of Haruhi I’ve been stocking up (still can’t believe the hyper download speed…) are going to come into play. I’ll write up some more stuff over the week.
Also on the way are some write-ups on manga. Now that I’ve the time, I’ll be going to the shop to do some more reading. Most likely I’ll be having Speed Grapher,…then I don’t know what…I’ll see…
And the best for last. A write-up on a pc game. This time’s one is for F.E.A.R. A really good game I think. FPS meets horror. Managed to play up to Interval 3 so far, but watched others play to 7. Will go on play some more on my own and come back for the write-up. That’ll be all for today then.
To Gourry: No, you misunderstand. It’s not that I can’t go to sleep without talking bout Haruhi. I’m not some hardcore fanboy.
It’s just that my conditioning does not allow me to rest easy on a incomplete job.
Yes, I know I promised some pictures some time back. Problem now is that I don’t know how to get them. Print screen isn’t working for me. Perhaps I need a program?
Any suggestion? Or I just go and transfer an old screen capture program from the old computer.
Otherwise, I’ve already lined up what I’m looking for from the episodes. But if I find alternatives online, I’lluse them too.
Ok, I haven’t got the time right now, so I’ll just say that I managed to squeeze some time out to watch Haruhi again last night. Episode 2 this time. Review comes later.

But I finally got around to downloading ‘The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya’. Yes, I’m one outdated noob. How long has everyone been ranting about it already? Well, simply because of all the hype, I held bacjk awhile…
Well, anyway, I only managed to watch one episode so far. Episode 0…And yes, it alone is only good for making you go ‘wtf?’
I mean, it’s like a totally misdone mish-mash of several anime themes…not to mention a horrible job at cameramanship…
Please tell me the rest of the series isn’t like this…or I have been wasting my time…
